We are a leading provider of renewable solutions in packaging, biomaterials and wooden constructions on global markets. Our aim is to replace fossil based materials by innovating and developing new products and services based on wood and other renewable materials. We are looking for a new colleague Customer Service Specialist in Ghent. As a Customer Service Specialist you provide exceptional support and assistance to customers, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience. You are responsible for effectively communicating with customers, maintaining product knowledge, and delivering timely and accurate information or solutions to meet customer needs. Main Responsibilities and tasks:  Daily communication with customers, sales managers, logistics, mill production planning and supply chain coordination teams about order related matters  Receiving, processing and confirming orders  Planning customer deliveries and follow-up of stocks, proactive offering of available stock materials to customers  Monitoring customer sales plan, quota, orderbook and acting when needed  Pipeline order management  Reporting on demand for customer related information  Being first-line support for sustainability related topics  Participating in the development work related to own responsibility area  Support in knowledge sharing among the different customer service teams

  • You have a pro-active and commercial attitude, and the ability to solve problems and propose alternative solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills characterize you. You are an enthusiastic team player
  • You have the ability to perform multiple tasks under time pressure
  • Working with different ERP-systems and MS Office is no problem.

Formation: You have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area an experience in a sales and/or customer service environment

Connaissances professionnelles: You have relevant experience in a sales and customer service environment.

Connaissances linguistiques: You are fluent in English and German, other languages like Spanish, Italian, French are a big advantage.
